For hundreds of years, the profound knowledge of this martial art form was passed down only to members of the Chen Family. Today, everybody can access it.
Chen Xiao Wang is the Grandmaster, representing the 19th generation of this ancient form of martial art.
In Germany, the Chen style is also represented by Master Jan Silberstorff, who represents the 20th Generation.
Class Content:
“Inner Martial Art” Qi Gong
First Part Standing Pole: A standing exercise, which builds up an inner structure and connection, enabling the energy (Qi) to flow most efficiently
Second Part Reeling Silk: A set of physical exercises performed in connection with a conscious guiding of the energy flow.
Meditation 1,2,3 : In the first level of Chen style meditation, the body center (Dan Tien) is built-up. Inner movements, such as thoughts and emotions, are observed neutrally. In the second level, concentration on the body center (Dan Tien) is enhanced. After the second level, the third level follows.
9 Form (hand form): 9 form contains 9 pictures which are connected smoothly and fluidly. Some elements, however, are performed quickly and explosively.
Taijiquan strengthens the center of the body and has a calming effect on the mind and the emotions.
